I have seen them at a local breeder's place. They struggle to swim and stay afloat and he kept them in about 6 inches of water. I don't really think it's our right to create a genetically modified fish which struggles to swim and is so helpless. Sorry, can't help you out with a breeder's name. There are wonderful strains of healthy goldfish out there to choose from.

Some lines of goldfish are flat out hideou. IMHO

Aniqster, I am somewhat shocked to hear that someone has them locally, the last time I had heard of them was as a lost breed and that they were no longer available anywhere and that you couldn't even find pictures of them, thanks for letting us know
