hello all,

i just set up may 2nd 150g tall aquarium, 48*24*31 tall, I've always been a sa/ca cichlid man but i have recently taken a interest in freshwater rays. I've done some research but i done that a clear answer to the question of "can a smaller ray like P. scobina work (long term in 4*2 foot print tank?) i know bigger is better but is that workable? i would plan on adding a few other gentler fish like angles or discus, id this just isn't going to work that Ok, but i thought i would ask the experts. i know that a shorter/ larger footprint tank is more ideal but I'm working with what i have. let me know what your thought are.
thanks,
Jon

Hey Jon!

I believe that footprint is a bit small for most rays. One of the smallest rays is actually Hystrix. It must be the true one from Brazil and not the one from Peru. These rays are gorgeous but hard to find these days.
