I build a double stand for my 125s two years ago with 2x4. This morning I notice the middle of tank is not touch the stand. Probably 1/3 of the tank is not sitting on the stand, I can put a cardboard into it.
There is a 1/2 inch poly foam between stand and the tank.
should I worry about the tank cracking? Or any other way I can fix the stand?

Any images?

I suspect there are two supports, legs on each end. I would use third leg support on any six foot long tank. This would preclude stacking two 125s
If stanching must happen, look at commercial steel racks. If wood is neccasary consider screwing two 2x4 or two 2x6 togther got each 6' rail
I also suggest all rails rest on legs if wood is used. Requires dado joints. Steel stands allow easier placment of bio filters
