Who's all keeping shrimp these days? From the auction sales, it seems like quite a few. Anyone out there?

Yes there is tons of us. We have a facebook page called MN Shrimp Keepers and Breeders. Check it out!

I keep a few different types.

It's the new hot thing! I keep 4 types myself, but am still very much a newbie.

I'm a member of that Facebook group. I was just checking out which MFKers were into it.

I've got 4 shrimp tanks going at the moment, but am also quite new to it. There are many draws to it. Faster lifecycle, so no waiting 2 years for fish to grow. Smaller tank footprint requirements. No need to feed them every day. :D

I keep shrimp. Can't say I'm very good at it but I've got them. I'm better at keeping them alive then breeding.
I've got cherry reds that range from bland to fire red and I have a couple of Crystal Reds left.

Glad you posted on here. I don't do the facebook thing but am aware of the FB shrimp group.

So far, I've had moderate success at keeping them alive, but I'll use the excuse that I'm new to the shrimp game. Four tanks:

Cherry
Red Rili
Yellow/goldenbacks
Blue Velvet

The red rilis are doing the best, and are breeding a lot. The yellows are slowing dwindling. I'm not sure what that's about just yet.
