Any reason not to use these as food? I know I wil have to chop them up for size issues but health wise? Thinking a soak in cold water may help as well. Had a family trip with not enough fishing success so have a few containers of worms, crawlers and leeches..

We have a bass and turtles which I know will love the news but what about our others?? Rainbows, discus, Angels, loaches, etc....

Thanks!
It all started with a betta and a bowl...

I feed them to most of my fish. If a species is known to have bloat issues, do not feed them whole and probably not at all.
There are many articles on web about cleaning the worms gut out before feeding. IMO, that is a waste of time. A healthy fish can handle any bacteria in fish gut, who knows the same bacteria are probably already living in fish gut.
