Hi, I am wondering if anyone had any luck with any of the automatic fish feeders that are for sale. Also I have 5 week old baby cichlids in a net holding area inside the tank, how should they be fed when i'm on vacation? does the food blocks work well? Currently I am feeding the small fish three times a day with crushed up NLS.

Thanks

I used use crushed up Omega flakes for my fry. Super Veggie when they are mbuna.
But as for the auto feeders, I've used the little hang on the side or they sit on the hood feeders.
They have seemed to work best for me with flakes.
Just play with it until it gets the portion right. Now we have a bit bigger fish that eat the medium size pellets.
We just have someone visit the house and feed them since there's like 7 tanks all of different size fish.

Something like that or similar . You can get them cheaper than that of course.
Like I said, play with it though, get the portions right.
