Anyone use rain water for water changes? How would you prep that?

Filter it with a sponge or filter floss before it hits your rainbarrel, keep the rainbarrel water dark and circulating with either an airstone or powerhead to prevent algae, fungus, bacterial blooms etc.. I'd also test the pH before adding to your tank, don't want to dump some 4.5 pH acid rain on most fish (although blackwater fish like rams may love it).
