This happens to me almost every year: I'm leaving town for almost two months tomorrow, so of course I woke up this morning to two new spawns: a bubblenest in a Macropodus tank and angelfish eggs on the glass in the planted tank.

I'll have to warn my fish sitter to be on the lookout for increased violence while I'm away! Is late fall/early winter peak spawning time for everyone or are the fish just taunting me?

Too funny. I get this all the time when time to leave the house for long periods.
