showBAP version 1.6.0 released

Enhancements
Data download enhancements learned for mobile was applied to the wide screen interface.
Fixes added to coming HAP interface applied to BAP interface.
Cumulative scoring sheet extended to 5,000 points. http://shoku.org/MAS/interfaceData/js/s ... esBAP.html

Futures
I'm waiting for jQueryUI to release the menu bar they've been working on for the past couple of years. This will look much better with a menu bar that matches the accordion interface.

Species info queries need an online database setup. It will take time to get that done.

I think I live, or at least work, in a different world than many people...

There will be 4 interfaces instead of just one in the near future. These are all based upon the original "myBAP" interface. New techniques were learned while creating the three new interfaces. What was learned for one interface was applied to the other interfaces.

Hopefully, the original BAP interface will be noticeably faster than it was in the past. Also, the plots were adjusted so it takes much longer for the high scorers to get enough points to achieve "off the chart" status. :)

There are some more things I would like to do with this BAP interface, but I have to wait until other things are ready before it's practical to do so.

The Fraternal twin HAP wide-screen interface joins the BAP interface. These are as similar as possible to each other.

showBAP http://www.shoku.org/MAS/interfaceData/ ... myBAP.html

showHAP http://www.shoku.org/MAS/interfaceData/ ... myHAP.html

Both are at version 1.6.0

Yes, I checked the interface. It looks to be same or twin of BAP.
Attempted to use HAP data last eve. HAP database is not yet functional for me.

It's working today, with Firefox & Google Chrome. I haven't changed anything for it for at least a week.

Don't see any plant entries in there for you though. I checked the database extract feed as well.

Wonder what was wrong...

I will check it with Chrome.
It is for Milo. He has wanted access to database for some time. A couple of days ago, I told him it was up and running but had not actually checked it. Last night I attempted to check by person but no window came up to type in individual name. I also tried to check by genus but no box came up to place name.

Removed speculation of slow download causing the issue. (It was a download bug in a specific report.)

Chrome did not allow search by genus or by person.
By date comes up in one large file but is no search function, same as IE.

Will try Safari later.

I see the bug now! Thanks for the report.

The cumulative species (summary) report is not working on this page. http://www.shoku.org/MAS/interfaceData/ ... esHAP.html. However, the BAP version of this page works.

I'll track this down and fix it.

I fixed the bug and some data categorization issues. Also optimized the report code minimizing bandwidth consumed by web robots.

The fraternal BAP/HAP twins are now at version 1.6.1 with this update.
