I've raised these albino manacupuras from dime size fish and these have begun to pair off, which means I'm running out of tanks. This pair has spawned on the side of the glass three times now, the last time with wrigglers.

You can google "manacupura angelfish" to get more information. Suffice it to say that they are a spectacular wild specimen with a distinctive red patch on the shoulder. Getting the red patch to develop in the tank is hit or miss. You can see the red patch develop in the albino form on the male at the left. The albino form was a spontaneous mutation that was propagated, not a cross to albino angelfish.

Albino Manacupura Angelfish Pair

Like most wild Pterophyllum scalare, these will grow much bigger than domestic angelfish. You can see by the depth of the body and the perfect anal fin that they have not gone through umpteen generations of tank breeding.

They have a lot of wild instinct and are unlikely to be kind to other angelfish. Also, these are albinos so the fry will require much more care. If you haven't bred angelfish before, this is not a good starter pair.

$75. Pricing is firm. Text only, 612-sixsixnine-7550.
