I have a 58g and could use some ideas of what I could put in it.

I think either a Mbuna or West African Riverine setup would be good for that tank.

I think it is too small a tank in the long run for a malawi tank, when the fish get big it could present problems with aggression in a 3 ft tank. I would make it a west african river bio-type set up. My opinion only.

Ya, water would be good. Could do a shellie tank or a small tang community, neolamps, julies, ertmodus etc.. depending on what species you choose to keep.
